Conversion camshafts do not fit in a conversion camplate, conversion camshafts use the '07-'17 camplate/oil pump.
Conversion camshafts for '99-'06 Twin Cam engines utilize the '99-'06 inner cam journals with the '07-'16 outer cam journals allowing the use of the '07-'-16 camplates, oil pump, hydraulic chain tensioners and chain drive system.
'99-'01 engines with Magneti Marelli ignition requires use of Andrews sprocket (sold separately) in replacement of HD 34 tooth sprocket #25728-06 in order to install the new style outer cam chain.
